Dark Roast Coffee
All dark roast coffees are roasted are closer to a “full city” (medium-dark degree) as opposed to a “French” or “Italian” (extremely dark roast degree). This choice is made in order to preserve the inherent sweetness and natural flavour notes present in the bean. When a coffee is dark-roasted (as opposed to light-roasted) it tends to have a slightly lower acidity and a slightly fuller; and darker roasts contain slightly less caffeine than lighter roasts.
